Summer, Sun, Beach and more ...

Summer Summer heat intensifies the already warm and humid environment under the foreskin. Sweat, high temperatures, and trapped moisture create ideal conditions for bacteria, fungi, and germs - a perfect breeding ground for unpleasant odor, smegma, and infections such as balanitis.

How can the genital area be kept clean, odor-free, and healthy - even in the heat, with sweat and movement? Many men find this uncomfortable: constant intimate cleaning, insecurity during sex, or the feeling of never being truly "fresh" despite good hygiene.

The solution: circumcision. By removing the foreskin, the moist area where deposits and germs can accumulate is eliminated. The glans remains dry, clean, and well-ventilated - significantly improving penile hygiene.

Especially in summer, many circumcised men report a noticeable sense of increased freshness, confidence, and freedom - whether during sports, at the beach, or in daily life.

EURO CIRC publishes leaflets on foreskin circumcision

Faltblatt In these leaflets the essential advantages of circumcision are presented in a concise manner. In addition, a committee of 15 international experts has rounded up facts from scientific studies in "Expert Leaflets." All leaflets are aimed at men and parents as aid in the decision-making process and can be downloaded free of charge, printed out, and displayed in medical practices if required.

A snip in time

Family Parents that want to circumcise their sons for prophylactic reasons are allowed since the circumcision law to do so. The benefits of infant circumcision include prevention of urinary tract infections (a cause of renal scarring), reduction in risk of inflammatory foreskin conditions such as balanitis, foreskin injuries, phimosis and paraphimosis. When the boy later becomes sexually active he has substantial protection against risk of HIV and other viral sexually transmitted infections such as genital herpes and oncogenic human papillomavirus, as well as penile cancer. The risk of cervical cancer in his female partner(s) is also reduced.
