Triple incision |
| With a triple incision, it is attempted to expand the foreskin surgically. This is done by three vertical incisions across the phimotic ring. The resulting incision edges are then sutured back together horizontally, now running parallel to the phimotic section. Scarring occurs frequently as a result, causing the foreskin to re-tighten and making a full circumcision inevitable. |
